House rules
lo.my is for laughing with each other, not at each other.
Please do
- Add slang Malaysians actually use, with a clear meaning and a natural example.
- Vote up the definitions that are spot on, and vote down the ones that are wrong.
- Mark rude or vulgar words as vulgar so they stay hidden by default.
Not allowed
- Racism, religious hate, or words used to put down any community.
- Anything about a real, named person, including classmates, exes, bosses or politicians.
- Links, phone numbers, email addresses or adverts.
- Personal information of any kind.
How it works
Anyone can add 5 words a day without an account. Members can add 30. New words are checked by a moderator before they go live; members with a few approved words skip the queue.
Reporting
Every definition has a Report link. Once 5 different people report it, it is hidden automatically until a moderator checks it. For anything urgent, such as personal data, use the contact form.
